THE SIX TENETS OF CODGERISM 1. We Persist. Pain, setbacks, lost parts, broken bones, broken…
The Wandering Codger
The Wandering Codger
“I’ve lost track of my mind,” said the codger with cheer,
“It’s wandered away, perhaps somewhere near.
But no need to worry, it’ll circle back soon—
Maybe at sunrise, or under the moon!
It drifted through teacups, then strolled through the rain,
Pausing for stories and dancing again.
When it comes back, it’ll chuckle and say:
“A codger’s mind never truly strays away!”
