We are Maggie and Derek — two octogenarians with bills that outpace pensions, yet with a spirit that refuses to fade.  When the fridge looked bare, we didn’t give up. We made a
television show.

Codgerism is our creed: scrappy, funny, honest, and unbowed. We believe that age does not diminish our spark — it sharpens it. We believe that mischief is a survival skill, and humour is our daily bread. We believe that when the world tells you to sit down, you rise — or at least laugh loudly from the couch.

The story is simple:

Two codgers. Empty fridge. So they made a TV show.
In our eighties, short on groceries — so we made a show.
Funny, scrappy, heartfelt, it’s about survival, spirit, and finding joy when the cupboard’s bare.
This is not just a television show. It is a movement. Codgers everywhere are awake, alive, and ready to laugh, sing, cook, and share. Codgers Television. It’s about time.

It is about what makes each of us unique – but also just like you.

So pull your chair in, take your part,
We’re bound not by the past, but heart.
And in this ragtag cabaret,
